You might be forgiven for thinking that Hayling, being an island, just consists of water-borne events throughout the Summer.  Indeed, the Island is very proud to host the Virgin Kitesurfing Armada Festival and the Round Island Kayak Event, both in June, plus the National Watersports Festival in September. There is so much more on offer throughout the whole of the Summer season, from music festivals at Eastoke Plaza to plays at the Station Theatre, one day courses at the Island library, varied events at the Community Centre and then there is the funfair,  something for everyone.

Everyone will love a ride on the Hayling Seaside Railway along the seafront from Beachlands or Eastoke Corner - to take in the beautiful views across the sea to the Isle of Wight.  Train runs weekends and Wednesdays throughout the year and everyday in school holidays.  Join it at Eastoke Corner for  trip to the weekly car boot on a Wednesday morning.

If you like watching live bands, you're in luck! Check out the listings for the public houses on Hayling - many have bands on at the weekends with a wide variety of different types of music.  During the week there are quiz nights and open mic/jam evenings. To find out about What's On whilst you are here on Hayling Island, visit www.hayling.co.uk/events or the Hayling Island page on Facebook. Also check out www.playingontheplaza.co.uk for outdoor entertainment.
